Sister Moon

Sister Moon, Thomas Hellman

Just finished singing it once again...

Sister Moon
Skip across the sky
I can see your reflection
In the corner of my baby's eye

Sister Moon
You never never let me be
When I turn my eyes away
You come and find me

I saw you echo by the sea
To the middle of the water
You were calling me

And through the branches of those
Naked winter trees
I thought I heard you singing
A melody

Sister Moon
Sing that song for me
I've been dreaming of that melody
That melody means everything to me

Sister Moon
Skip across the sky
I can see your reflection
In the corner of my baby's eye

Sister Moon
You never never let me be
When I turn my eyes away
You come and find me

I'll always trust you
Follow in my madness
And let me in the silence
Of your melody

A dear friend's blessing

"May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you need to be. May you dwell in possibility. May you use the gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, laugh, and love."

Feeling my way through the dark

Through the Dark - K.T. Tunstall

As I walk away
I look over my shoulder
To see what I'm leaving behind
Pieces of puzzles and
Wishes on eyelashes fail

Ohhhhhhh how do I show
all the love inside my heart
Well this is all new
And I'm feeling my way
through the dark

Well I used to talk
With honest conviction
Of how I predicted my world
I'm gonna leave it to stargazers
Tell me what your telescope says

Ohhhhhh what is in store
for me now, it's coming apart
I know that it's true
'cause I'm feeling my way
through the dark

Try to find a light on somewhere
Try to find a light on somewhere
I'm finding I'm falling in love
with the dark over here

Ohhhhhh what do I know
I don't care where I start
For my troubles are few
As I'm feeling my way
through the dark
through the dark

I'm feeling my way
through the dark
